A dome, a former and a coil of wire that together weigh less than a paperclip. Everything else in the cup exists to stop that mass from being pushed around by anything other than the signal — which is a duller ambition than most brands admit to, and a much harder one to hold.
Every curve we publish was taken in our own anechoic chamber, on a head simulator, at three fit positions. When the result was worse than we hoped we published that too — twice it changed the product, and once it changed the claim.
Most ranges drift, because each product gets tuned by whoever was in the room that quarter. Ours are held against one published target, unit to unit, so moving between them is a change of format and not a change of opinion.
